FI

Aleksi Perälä is a Finnish techno artist and what you might call a sound scientist. He started making records as a teenager in the mid-'90s and quickly fell in with Aphex Twin's label, Rephlex, who released a few records Perälä made under the name Ovuca. In the '00s he spent three years studying music technology in Helsinki, and since then his work has been fueled by a passion for the physics of sound.

YON & POL

CH

TENSION is a synchronised live performance in which YON and POL use transparent screens, LED bars and projection mapping. While POL performs a live improvisation on tracks taken from his "Tension" album, every produced sound sends a specific signal to YON, which he then uses to generate images, trigger projections or distort visual elements. The tracks are made of dozens of different sounds, thus allowing a range of extreme sensations. The result is an immersive and hyptonic universe, where every sound is experienced both acoustically and visually.
