Puredata workshop print sizeThe human face is one of the most often used objects in computer tracking and recognition today. Tracking a face and following its movements, the machine interprets it in the way of emotions recognition. Why not reverse the roles and control the machine with your face?
Using Pure Data, a visual programming language for multimedia creations, you will be able to literally control video playback with the movements of your face.

Popesz Csaba Láng co-founded with Elwira Wojtunik the Polish-Hungarian duo of multimedia artists Elektro Moon Vision. Working at the intersection of creative computing, design and light art, this internationally recognised duo creates interactive multimedia installations, stage projection designs, 3D video mappings and scenography projections for theatre and opera. In their works they use a variety of new media tools, often implementing their own codes, patches and mathematic algorithms. Their works were presented at significant international digital media art exhibitions and events around the world, including the MuseumsQuartier in Vienna (Austria), the WRO Media Art Biennale in Wroclaw (Poland), the Akarenga Soko Gallery in Yokohama (Japan), the TADAEX in Tehran (Iran) and the PdCon in NYC (USA). In Krakow (Poland), where they live, their live visuals could be seen at the Unsound Festival in 2016. Re-Kreacja, an interactive mapping installation, belongs to the collection of Contemporary Art Gallery Bunkier Sztuki, Krakow.
